Coley is a dynamic and compassionate mental health professional devoted to helping people heal, grow, and reconnect to their sense of purpose. With years of experience across correctional facilities, crisis treatment programs, and outpatient clinics, he brings a trauma-informed, culturally attuned, and deeply human approach to therapy.
Coley integrates evidence-based modalities like EMDR Therapy, Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, Family-Based Therapy (FBT), and psychedelic-assisted therapy to help clients experience rapid relief and lasting transformation—especially when traditional methods have fallen short.
Coley has supported individuals navigating some of life’s most difficult challenges—from incarceration and severe mental illness to complex trauma, addiction, grief/loss, and eating disorders. His background includes work as a clinical case manager and crisis therapist at Santa Clara County jails, a forensic social worker with the San Mateo County Bar Association’s Private Defender Program, a HEALer’s Circle therapist with Project HEAL’s eating disorder program, and a health equity leader in MDMA-assisted therapy with Lykos Therapeutics (formerly MAPS).
His counseling style is person-centered, strength-based, and grounded in social rehabilitation, always holding space for clients to feel seen, supported, and empowered. Above all, Coley is passionate about providing warm, nonjudgmental, and deeply affirming care. He sees therapy as a sacred process—one that helps people not only heal their past, but step boldly into their passion, potential, and purpose.
